I had a baby three weeks ago and have been using it on my belly during recovery, as well as in my hair to keep it hydrated and healthy ahead of the impending postpartum hair loss! We will also be trialling for baby massage soon, calendula is so calming and in my opinion gentler on the senses than lavender so it’s a great alternative for our baby we hope.

Barefoot Botanicals was born from a simple belief: nature already provides what we need, in the season we need it.
We create small-batch herbal oils and botanical products using ingredients we grow ourselves and source from local farmers who practise organic, regenerative methods. We don't pretend to grow everything, we celebrate the growers around us who are doing things right.
We choose fresh herbs over long supply chains, local growers over mass production, and quality over quantity. Every jar, bottle and blend carries a story, of the herbs, the soil, the farmers who nurtured them, and the season that brought them to life.
Our mission is to reconnect people with nature through handcrafted, seasonal herbal products made from fresh, locally grown ingredients. We grow what we can, partner with local organic farmers for what we can't, and make every batch with care from start to finish.
Our hope is that each product becomes more than something you use. We hope it reconnects you with the natural cycles that have supported people for generations.
